"About: MassPIRG a state-wide, student-funded, student-directed organization working to solve social and environmental dilemmas beyond our campuses. This campaign aims to educate and engage the student body to ACT on Global Warming.
Goal: We are working to get the University to institutuinally support more Renewable Energy Credits for wind energy on campus, as well as educating the student body about the solutions to Global Warming through Residence Hall Competitions to reduce energy consumption. Most importantly, this semester we are putting a lot of effort into developing local legislative champions for the Renewable Energy Bill on the floor in Mass this Spring, which would increase our use of Renewables by 20% by 2020."
