"About: Fayette Academy has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Green School Program, National Wildlife Federation, National Gardening Association, Tennessee Pollution Prevention Partners and the Tennessee Environmental Educator's Student Association. This high school based Ecology Club has adopted the following environmental policy statement: To provide every student the opportunity to foster an attitude of stewardship and discovery of living things through the use of our senses, observation and experimentation. Goal: TO REACH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF ACCOMPLISHMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S GREEN SCHOOL PROGRAM. THIS WILL BE ATTAINED THROUGH ACCOMPLISHING A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM IN EACH AREA: reduce, reuse, recycle; energy conservation, clean air, hazardous materials management and reduction, and land and water conservation. I would be glad to forward our specific plan."
