The Environmental Action Club at College of Marin (Earth First) is committed to educating students and our community about environmental and social issues related to climate change. In the coming semester we plan to implement a composting program within the campus, persuade our cafeteria owners to use bio-degradable utensils, plates and bowls, (they already serve Fair Trade Organic coffee!!) We plan to get students to participate in coastal clean-up days, offer a P.E. course worth 2.0 credits for riding a bicycle to school, hold a screening of Leonardo DiCaprio's film "The 11th Hour", and much more...
