About: Our group is a colaborative effort from members of several of OSU's environmental groups. They are our roots and we are the trunk to the branches that are OSU's administrative organization.
Goal: We are working to establish a LEED certification policy for all new construction at The Ohio State University. We recognize that nearly 50% of all CO2 emitions are generated by large buildings either while maintaining them or during their construction processes. By implementing a LEED certification standard for all new construction our large university could have an enormous impact on our local economy and ecosystem.
