Sustainability: the practice of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (United Nations, 1992).
We, the students of the state of Michigan, will act to improve the future of our communities, our state, our nation, and our planet by campaigning for the just, balanced distribution and use of social, political, economic, and environmental resources.
