ClimateChallenge.org is completely user driven. All the resources, groups and content are created by US, the users. Join the fun and help make the site a rocking resource for the youth climate movement.

Get started!

  1. REGISTER. From the home page you can register or login by clicking the green box on the right hand side. From here you can create your profile.

  2. FIND, JOIN, or CREATE a GROUP. As a logged in user you can not only find a group, but you can also join existing groups, or create new ones. Go to the Get Involved tab on the navigation bar.

  3. BROWSE. ClimateChallenge.org offers resources to help you in your campaign against global warming, and a calendar to find cool events near you.

  4. PARTICIPATE. Add your own resources, wiki-sources, or post events for others to use and see.

Forums

Forums

Forums can be found under the Get Inspired tab of the navigation bar. Or you can get there by going to http://www.climatechallenge.org/forum

Creating a New Forum Topic

  1. You must be logged in to create a new forum topic. Once you are logged in, click on post a new forum below the main heading.

  2. Insert the title of your forum in the subject line, and the main text in body. Don't forget to categorize your post!

  3. Additional options when posting a new forum:
    • Input format
    • URL path settings
    • Menu settings
    • Comment settings
    • File attachments
    • Authoring information
    • Publishing options

  4.  Preview your post. This allows you to see what your post will look like on the site. You can continue to make changes from here, or you can click Submit. Once you hit submit, you're done! View your post on the main forum page.

Getting yourself to Power Shift or arranging for a group of up to 55 students from your campus or community to come can be easy - just read on! A limited number of travel scholarships are available. You can find out more on our Travel Scholarships page. You can also post available seats on buses going to Power Shift, or find buses leaving from your school or neighborhood. A ride share program for individual students is up and running, so post a ride or hop on another on our Ride Share page.
