Riverside is an Emerald City...

in the proverbial sense of course. I find it disappointing but a bit amusing that a whole city can work together so well in order to achieve a common goal of reducing their impact, in a relatively cost-effective manner, and be distinguished for it by the Department of Conservation but UCR who has only a few puny miles (if even that) to maintain haven't quite figured out the nuances of watering to the extent as to not turn our grassland into marshes but hopefully that will change. I mean after awhile people will start asking, I see grass but what its purpose if we can't golf, picnic, or walk on it?
