High School Students DIstribute 60,000 CFL Light Bulbs

HelpLightNJ, formed by Mater Dei High School Students Matt Erickson, Paula Plilipovic and John Caddock has been raising money to purchase energy saving compact fluorescent light bulbs, and distribute them to needy families and senior citizens. As part of New Jersey's Green Resource Team, and thanks to the support of the New Jersey CLean Energy Program, HelpLightNJ distributed 60,000 CFL bulbs in 6 months during 2008. The bulbs distributed will save NJ familes over $4 million dollars off thier electric bills over the life of the lamps.
